Special Info  Sis. Jeanette McDonald Jones was born in Kingston, Jamaica as the fourth of five living children of Constance (nee O’Connor) and Uriah Butler on February 7, 1939. She believed firmly in learning and self-improvement, adopting the motto: Saber es Poder (Knowledge is Power). As a devoted member of the Historic First Church of God in Christ and its Superintendent of the Sunday School, it brought her joy to give her time, talents, and love to those who needed it, especially to children and the disaffected. She passed away in her sleep at the Crown Heights Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation on March 8, 2020, her residence for the last 18 months. She suffered from vascular dementia. Jeanette is survived by her daughters Alethia Jones and Tamara Jones, her nephew Ryan Francis.
