Special Info  Pastor Phillip Emanuel Reid was born in Belmont in the district of Reading, parish of St. James Jamaica, West Indies on April 25th 1963. As a little boy, he attended Granville All Age School and from there went on to attend Cambridge Secondary School. As he got older Phillip went on to attend Seminary School. He came to the United States in 2000 and resided in Miami, Florida. While in Miami, he met a host of friends which included radio host Brother Gary, Penicillin, Second Chance and many more. It was there that he embraced his love of music and went on to sing on their album before going on to record his own. Pastor Phillip Emanuel Reid started to express his love for Christ before he came to the United States, and it blossomed further while in Miami, Florida. He became a Pastor and was ordained on June 18th 2000 under Church of God and Christ Intl., Inc. and served as the assistant Pastor and men’s president for Abundant Faith Ministries, Inc. He was also affiliated with International Faith Christian Fellowship, Inc. and Power of Faith Church. In 2011 Pastor Reid moved to Brooklyn, NY. It was at that time he expressed to Brother Gary that he wanted to focus more on the Lord and wanted to open a church. So, with the help of Brother Gary, Shekhinah Tabernacle, Inc. was established. From there with aid from Bishop Caesar of Christ is the Answer (CITA), Shekhinah Tabernacle, Inc. found a home in the East Flatbush area of Brooklyn, NY and shortly after became a part of PANA, the Pentecostal Association of North America. Pastor Phillip Emanuel Reid had a host of friends who loved him dearly and when he was called on by them, he would always try his best to help as GOD called him to do so. Pastor Phillip Emanuel Reid is survived by his mother Lurline Lynch Reid, wife Missionary Felicia Fleming-Reid and her son Derrick, four sisters Becetta Dunbar, Jennifer Desouza, Beverly Lawrence and Sharon Doeman, two brothers, Maurice and Richard Reid. As well as seven children Kacey Ann, Mikal, Shanece, Brittany, Brihanna, Damon and Phillip, along with three grandchildren Allyana, Jaydan and Domink, many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
