Special Info  Margaret Lillian Gibbs, 70, passed away on February 24, 2021 at Interfaith Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. She was born on January 18, 1951 in La Fortune, St. Patrick’s, Grenada to Lincoln and Helena Pascall. Margaret spent her youth in Grenada, attended St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic School, and graduated from Saint Joseph’s Convent Grenville. Margaret immigrated to the United States in 1982, planting roots in Brooklyn, New York. She was an active member of her local church and would go on to enjoy a fulfilling career as a healthcare aide. An unsuccessful hip replacement forced her into early retirement.  Among her passions were shopping, indulging in a home cooked meal, watching classic television shows, such as Martin, and sipping a tasty cocktail. She was also very creative and would knit, sew, and crochet the most beautifully ornate items. She took pride in her talents and paid it forward by teaching others. Her favorite holidays were Easter and Christmas, and each year she maintained Grenadian traditions, such as outfitting her home with new and festive décor throughout and cooking the most delicious ham. Some of our favorite memories of her are of times spent around her dining table sharing stories and delicious food. Her laugh was infectious, and her smile could light up a room.  Margaret is survived by her son Roger of Laurel, Maryland, and his wife Lisa; her siblings Mary of Queens, NY, Sydney of Brooklyn, NY, and his wife Bernadette, and Glastilian of River Road, St. George’s, Grenada, and his wife Violet; and her nieces and nephews and other relatives. Her memory will live on and will be a constant reminder to us all that while we can, we should make certain to live every day like it is our last, and to give our loved ones their flowers while they can still smell them.  Condolences may be left online at tinyurl.com/p4njyxtu.
