Rosa was one of eight siblings. She was strong, churchgoing, loving, straightforward, supportive, and happy to many individuals. Rosa was a very giving person, even if it was her last; she had a lot of love for people. She was a devoted housewife and market vendor in St. George’s. Rosa was very loquacious, she took nothing from anyone. She would tell you about yourself quickly, as she would say:
“To wise you are to wise you be, you’re not to wise for me”
“What they say they say”
“You not going with anything naked you come naked you go”
Rosa loved to cook just as she loved to feed people. She was a loving, strong dedicated woman who used her strength to the VERY END. Her strong body never gave up. Upcoming to her final moments, Rosa faced Dementia disease but still push through with her mighty strength.
Agnes Rosa Mc Burnie will always be remembered and greatly missed. Rosa leaves behind her children, in-laws, grand & great grandchildren, siblings, nieces, cousins, beloved neighbors, and friends to include her loving, supportive, caring and compassionate caretakers Oris and Marjorie.
