INTERMENT: The remains of Cletina Lendore will be shipped back to her beloved homeland of Grenada for Interment at the family plot in Carriacou at a later date.

Cletina M. Lendore, also known as Cousin Cletina, was born on September 11th 1934 to Harold and Lilian , both from L’Esterre, Carriacou.
For most of Cletina’s life, she resided in L’Esterre, Carriacou, where she did many domestic jobs, but her most valuable task was being a mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Cousin Cletina was a caring person. She entertained and accommodated the neighborhood children of L’Esterre, persons from other islands, and even strangers. She participated in gardening, church activities, Saraca cooking, and storytelling, to name a few. She loved cleaning her yard at the crack of dawn and was a fantastic cook. Some of her super dishes were cou-cou, okra , stew fish, and peas soups.
Cousin Cletina loved her brother Talbert Allert and fondly remembered her visits to Trinidad with her nieces and nephews.
In 2019, Cousin Cletina migrated to the USA, where she resided and was cared for by her children until her passing on July 28th 2023, surrounded by loved ones.
Cousin Cletina’s favorite words of encouragement to herself and others through her illness were “God is good all the time.”
Cletina is survived by four children: Theresa, Angela (aka Gella, Kathleen (in the U.S.A) and Martin (aka skinny) in Grenada , 13 grandchildren (Jason, Earl aka Barry, Elton aka Kuntie, Candise and Kadeem all in New York. Adrian in Canada. Davidson aka Romeo and Ricardo aka Coco. Amba in Carriacou. Annella and Anton in Trinidad) and 22 great-grandchildren.
Brother Talbert and Hostar and Sister Alicia in Trinidad.
Granddaughter-in-Law: Debrorah, Shannell, Sabrina, Rachel, Pamela Lendore, and Elisabeth Enoe.
Grandson in Law: Orlon Jules and Andy Duncan.
Adopted grandchildren: Valerie, Avis, and Gemo.
Nieces and nephews: Christian, Jenny, Pinkey, Theresa, Ann-Marie, Roy, Jermaine and Christine.
Relatives just to name a few: Lendore family, Baker and Contain family in Carriacou, Grenada, England and Trinidad, Bartholomew, Benjamin, Alexis, Emmons, Bedeau and John family.
Close friends: Ena, Monica, Llinda, Sylvia, Cousin Melda, Alutha, and more that are too numerous to mention.
We love and miss you, mommy...grandma...mama...Cousin Cletina.
